Why does my retail pricing rule price not match the GLS price

Question

I set up a retail pricing rule and selected the Match bc liquor stores check box. Why does my retail pricing rule price not match the GLS price for some of my products?

Answer

In order for GlobalTill to match the GLS price, the product must have a GLS price and this price must have been updated within the last 30 days. GlobalTill intentionally does not price match to GLS sale prices. To determine the GLS price and last time the GLS price was updated, refer to the B.C. Data tab.

Here are some examples.

Outdated price

Assuming today's date is May 9, 2021, this product would not be priced to match BC Liquor Stores as the GLS price was last updated more than 30 days ago.

BC Liquor Stores sale price

Assuming today's date is May 9, 2021, this product would not be priced to match the BC Liquor Stores price. Despite being last updated within the last 30 days, the current GLS price is a sale price. In this case, GlobalTill would match to the standard GLS price of $25.49, plus any rounding specified in your retail pricing rule.
