What is an inventory transaction type?
In GlobalTill, inventory transactions are associated with inventory transaction types. Inventory transaction types are used to track the quantities and movements of items. These transaction types appear in various areas of GlobalTill—most notably in reporting.
Inbound transaction types include purchases from vendors, returns, transfers (internal), store transfers, adjustments, repackaging, and items added through cycle counts.
Outbound transaction types types include sales, returns to vendors, transfers (internal), store transfers, adjustments, repackaging, destructions, and items removed through cycle counts.
