What is the difference between an inventory count and an adjustment on the product inventory tab?

While both an inventory count and an adjustment change the on-hand quantity of product, each is flagged differently in the GT Backend. Once a count is posted, the Inventory Tab on a product's detail page is also updated. When adjustments are made due to an inventory count, it is marked as Count. When you adjust product inventory through the Adjust button, it will be marked Adjustment.
