Question
I downloaded a new version of GT Mobile from the Google Play Store, but I'm unable to open it on my Android device. When I try to open GT Mobile, it crashes. How do I fix this?
Answer
This can happen if you initially installed GT Mobile from an Android Application Package (APK), and then installed a later version from the Google Play Store.
To resume functionality, follow these steps on your Android device.
- Go to Settings > Apps.
- Find GT Mobile and click on it.
- Select Storage.
- Select Clear data, and go back.
- Select Uninstall at the bottom.
- Reboot your Android device and re-install GT Mobile from the Google Play Store.
Heads up
You must reboot your Android device for the changes to be effective.
