This article covers the Desk/5000 and Move/5000 with the default operating system. It applies to all payment processors that are integrated with GlobalTill, except for Moneris, who uses a customized operating system.

How do I toggle back and forth between semi-integrated mode and standalone mode?

Follow these steps

To toggle back and forth between semi-integrated mode and standalone mode, follow these steps.

1. To exit semi-integrated mode, select the terminal icon () located on the top right corner. This will revert the terminal to standalone mode.
   
   • The POS can't communicate with the payment terminal while in standalone mode. If you press the Card button on the payment screen, you will receive an error message. Instead, select the specific payment method to record the payment. Remember to collect the payment by manually entering the balance owed into the payment terminal.
2. To convert back to semi-integrated mode, select the cash register icon () located in the top right corner.
