Do I still need to perform end of shift on a POS station that hasn't been used?

If I don't use a POS station for the entire day, do I still need to perform an End of Shift when the day is over?

Answer

If you didn't Start a Shift, and didn't use the POS station for the entire day, there is no need to perform an End of Shift at that station. If you did Start a Shift, however, we do recommend you close the shift, even if there were no transactions. This will keep your data organized and give you an accurate start date the next time you Start a Shift from the station.
